Free day-long event celebrates and connects Montenegro entrepreneurs on International Coworking Day
BAR (August 1, 2016) – The global movement of coworking has arrived in Bar, Montenegro, through Beta Bar, a membership-based collaborative work and meeting space for independent entrepreneurs who choose to work alongside others, instead of in isolation. Coworking encourages local entrepreneurs to share ideas, brainstorm, cross-promote and explore new concepts together.
One of Beta Bar’s founders, Jeff Buxton says, “Beta Bar is building a local coworking community for the new project-based economy. Coworking is a trend which is growing exponentially, regionally and internationally. With so many independent professionals in Montenegro, coworking is a key service to provide – creating a place for us to come together and actively collaborate.”“The essence of coworking is cooperation”, says Beta Bar Co-founder Jennifer Buxton. “The more opportunities we can create for small businesses to succeed and create meaningful jobs, and to encourage working families to stay or move to our community, the closer we are to economic and cultural sustainability. That’s true quality of life.”
Beta Bar will be furthering their work with the local startup community, by celebrating International Coworking Day on August 9, 2016 with a day of free coworking (9AM – 5PM). Bring your laptop, pull up a desk and get some work done!
